MFS provides emergency assistance to provide food, clothing, short term housing and monetary support.
Cultural Competency Training:
MFS’ expertise is providing culture based approaches to services, primarily with the diversity of the Muslim population. However, we also provide training and seminars on cultural competency for other service providing agencies and allied professionals across cultures.*
MFS is funded by grants and donations. We rely on private donations to build our emergency fund. Therefore, the majority of our services are free of charge to our clients.
*Minimal fees are charged to clients for ongoing clinical counseling on a sliding scale basis. There is also a fee to professionals for cultural competence seminars and training.
